The challenge here was first to understand the current mind set of small to medium sized businesses in Minneapolis, St. Paul and surrounding suburb (the target). What we found was most small to medium sized companies do not understand how critical media placement is to the effectiveness of the advertising efforts. After analyzing competitor's ads we decided a humorous approach was the best way to represent RSMW. The ads also referenced some key benefits of RSMW, including more than 39 years of experience and priceless media connections. The company qualities we emphasized were "relatable, personable, and supportive".
