The major challenge for WeMentor was to make improvements to the current website. Through these improvements, we hoped to increase website traffic and involvement. We also had to come up with marketing tools in order to effectively reach our two target markets, smaller university administrators as well as businesses/individuals seeking improvement. In terms of website improvements, we proposed a reorganization of the layout on the site, and the use of trees as links in order to stay consistent with the look and feel of the brand. We also expanded the current online quiz in order to get more valuable results as well as increased involvement with WeMentor. For marketing tools, we proposed the placement of print ads in various publications that would most effectively reach our target market. Some examples were Upsize and Women's Business. Our last recommendation was to incorporate search engine optimization so that major search engines would pick up on optimized words within the site, which would in return increase website traffic.
